In a recent episode of 1000-Lb Sisters on TLC, fans saw that Tammy Slaton tore into her sister, Amy Slaton Halterman when they were in a limo. Now, Tammy has apologized to her fans and to her sister. But, do all followers think she needed to say sorry? Read on to find out.
Tammy Slaton Clashes With Her Family
In Season 6 of the TLC show, 1000-Lb Sisters viewers already saw that Tammy clashed with Amanda. In fact, Amanda told her to get out of her house after she behaved badly. So, critics are suggesting that she might have lost weight but inside, Tammy’s still got an ugly personality.
Tammy Slaton seemed to be doing so well with her weight loss, but the current season of 1000-Lb Sisters shows that she can still be truculent. For example, when the doctors told her she couldn’t have her skin removal surgery yet, she stopped talking and packed a major sulk. Since then, she and Amy Slaton clashed in the limo.
Tammy Slaton & Amy Slaton Clash
Amy Slaton and her sister went out together and they took a limo ride. It should have been a fun time for them. But it went south after Amy started misbehaving. She made some inappropriate comments to the driver and even passed a big wind of the number two kind.
Tammy Slaton told Amy Slaton to stop making a “fool” of herself. Plus, the TLC star vented that her sister was so “rude” and “disrespectful” that she was “done” with her. But now, she has apologized on TikTok.
TLC Fans Discuss The Apology
In her apology, the 1000-Lb Sisters star said that she was talking about it because “everybody hates me right now.” Explaining the “backstory,” she added, “I wasn’t trying to bash Amy. I love Amy to death.” At the time, when Amy dated her ex, Kevin, the TLC star “was drinking a whole lot,” So, when she was “drunk” in the limo, she embarrassed Tammy.
On Reddit, when TLC fan u/Cocos_thoughts shared the video, a lot of people supported Tammy Slaton and they agreed that Amy Slaton was wrong. Here are some of their responses:
- …i do agree with her actions in the limo scene specifically because amy needs to grow the f–k up. 😭 pushing 40 and acting like a middle schooler is honestly sad.
- I would have removed myself from the limo. SOO EMBARRASSED FOR TAMMY.
