Tammy Slaton Lost 500lbs Of Weight

When 1000-Lb Sisters premiered in January 2020, Amy Slaton and her sister had to lose weight to qualify for gastric surgery. Well, Amy managed it, but her sister failed. In fact, at one stage, the TLC star even put on weight. Did you know that she weighed over 700lbs? But since then, she shed 500lbs. 

Tammy Slaton faces another problem now that she lost so much weight. She’s less than half the size she was. But a good deal of her body is excess skin. Unfortunately, it hangs down as the fat underneath disappeared. Every 1000-Lb Sisters fan hopes that she will be able to have it surgically removed. Even with the excess skin, the before and after photos seem shocking.

TLC fans who follow 1000-Lb Sisters on Instagram saw some before and after photos of Tammy, and some of them seemed shocked and disgusted by the before picture. But, credit should be given to the reality TV star for sticking with her weight loss plan. She looks much healthier these days.

Plenty of TLC viewers claim that they see Tammy Slaton as a major inspiration with their own weight problems and the before and after photos certainly prove that it can be done. In Tammy’s case, she remarked that she swapped an addiction to food for an addiction to not eating.
