Kody Brown has admitted to Janelle that he doesn’t have the money to buy the land from her. She told Meri that she thinks that they should all get a lawyer in order to fight for this land.

After the women talked about the land, Meri felt that she needed to go behind Janelle’s back and tell Kody that Janelle may get a lawyer involved. Janelle was extremely upset that Meri did this and now she feels as if her trust has been violated.

Viewers also feel as if Janelle was simply trying to help Meri, but Meri turned around and chose Kody. She has gotten a lot of backlash for this betrayal of trust and now it looks as if she is ready to tell her fans what she was thinking in that moment.

Even though all Janelle was doing was trying to help Meri, Meri felt the need to go to her ex-husband and drop the news to him about Janelle’s plan.

Fans have started rooting for Meri since she left Kody and has changed her mindset, but this act proved, once again, that she will choose Kody no matter what. Meri appeared on a podcast and explained exactly what happened.

Meri said, “Janelle and I actually were talking about it yesterday. Becasue I was like, ‘People think that I was throwing you under the bus.’ That was not my intention. I told Janelle some more information that I am not revealing to the public and she’s like, all cool. We are all cool. So she didn’t feel that way and all is cool.” It turns out that TLC made some edits that made this situation look more dramatic than it was.
