Sister Wives spoilers reveal that Maddie Brown Brush is opening up about how poor her family was before they made it big on TLC. She recently did an interview where she came out about how her family wasn’t always on the positive financial side.

From what she has said about her family, Kody Brown was never good at saving money and it wasn’t always easy for them. Let’s take a closer look at what she said.

When Maddie opened up about her family, she began by saying, “I think my dad made decent money, but you have, like 15 kids. Like, a lot of kids.” She shared that when she got married, she changed the entire way she looked at money and how she spent it as well. She added, “My dad always tried the get-rich-quick-scheme, almost always. It was such a foreign thought to Caleb. And I remember explaining some ideas to him, and he was like, ‘No,no.’”

Maddie and her husband are still trying to work toward a financially stable life and it isn’t easy to do with children.

She said that being married to Caleb has taught her how to save money instead of having to spend every penny of it the way that she said her father did.

She admitted that the way her father handled money isn’t the way that works for her and she doesn’t use that method at all.

Maddie is very close to her mother, Janelle Brown. Recently, along with Caleb, they have all gone into business together. Janelle is very business-minded and has always shown that she is great with tackling finances.

Maddie is learning a lot from her and how to run a business. Janelle is one of the only people in her family that she is still close to and Janelle does everything that she can to help her to take care of her young children.

There may be a lot of lessons that Maddie has learned from her father, but right now, she is doing her best to work with her mother and husband on building a successful business.
