Sister Wives Spoilers reveal that Kody Brown wishes he had never married Meri Brown stating, It sucks to marry the wrong person. Meri questions why it took him 32 year to realize this. Meri admits that she has been with Kody since she has 19, more than half of her life. Kody could have ended this years ago.

Sister wives fans already watched the breakup of Kody and Meri. Thanks to Robyn Brown, Meri hung around probably longer than she would have.

Meri told Robyn more than once that Kody was done with her. Meri officially walked away in Season 18 after Kody told her they would never act as a married couple again.

The episode that aired Sunday, October 13 was titled, The Year Of Release. In this episode, Meri traveled to Utah and asked to be released from her and Kody’s spiritual marriage.

Meri decided that if Kody didn’t want to be with her in this world, she certainly didn’t want to be sealed to him for eternity.

Sister Wives Spoilers – Meri Brown Was Granted A Release

Meri revealed, “I was granted what is called in our church a release, which is basically the equivalent of a divorce.” Kody admits that he is “absolutely relieved”.

However, Kody says it is also heartbreaking to see. Christine Brown Woolley and Janelle Brown are both happy for Meri now that she chose to do this.

Kody talked about getting a phone call from a church elder after Meri’s visit with them. Kody refused to discuss what the elder had to say to him except to confirm the release.

Meri, however, said she was granted the release on the grounds of abandonment. Kody refused to believe that he abandoned Meri in any way.

Sister Wives Spoilers – It’s Not The Divorce The Hurts

Kody was livid when Christine Brown decided they were divorce and walked away from Kody with their daughter Truly Brown.

However, Kody had not been spending any time with any of the children that were not in Kody and Robyn Brown’s household. Christine decided that moving Truly away from Kody was what is best.

Kody also tried to renew his relationship with Janelle after he walked out on her. Kody accused Janelle of turning his children against him and infuriated Janelle enough that she told him to come get his stuff.

However, when it comes to Meri, “Marrying the wrong woman is what sucks.” Kody claims he didn’t love Meri when he married her. Kody also claims he didn’t love Janelle or Christine either.

Sister Wives Spoilers – Kody Brown And Meri Brown’s Issues Have Dragged Out For Years

Kody and Meri have had issues for years but everything spiral in 2015 when Meri was the victim of a catfishing scheme. Kody never forgave Meri for talking to this person or for considering leaving him at the time.

Meri and Kody posted matching statements when they ended their marriage. Kody wants to be friends with Meri and nothing more. Kody talks about Meri like she was an old shoe, saying that he needed her gone.

However, Kody doesn’t like the fact that the church agrees with the abandonment classification.
