Kody Brown is a former member of the AUB who says he has left the church. However, the AUB was a big part of both Kody and Robyn’s lives.

Robyn often has issues because they are not attending church, but Kody held church with the family for years. Kody still believes in God; he claims not to want anything to do with his former church.

Although Kody is no longer a polygamist, he still wants God to lead his marriage to Robyn.

However, a Sister Wives fan and Reddit user doesn’t agree posting, “Preview of Kody saying he wants God to be his wingman with Robyn. The patriarchy is thick with this man. I don’t believe he didn’t want Robyn and family to join a conservative religion. I strongly believe that Kody is using God as a manipulative tactic to keep Robyn in the marriage. I do believe in his collapse that he is extremely concerned Robyn is going to leave him. I think he hates the AUB because they rejected him. And I believe if he claims to worry about her joining another church it’s just lies. Letting her believe it was her idea and therefore having her false sense he is in charge of him.”

Kody says in the preview, “I wanna know that God has been my wingman with you and that nobody can take you away.” Kody goes on to say in the confessional that he trusts God to lead them where they need to go.

No matter how devout Kody wants to seem, Sister Wives fans are not buying what he is selling. Even some fans believe that Kody makes a mockery of religion.
