On the latest episode of Sister Wives, Janelle and Maddie were looking into properties and one of them was in Montana. Instead of buying this property, they chose one in North Carolina instead.

The land was purchased earlier in the year and Janelle is very excited to start this company with her family. The sale included 156.4 acres, and of course, fans want to know what they are going to do with the land.

This past week, Janelle took to Instagram to share this great news with her fans. She wrote, “I am beyond excited to finally share our passion project with you- TAEDA FARMS!

We’d love to invite you to come along on this wild, messy, and beautiful journey as we build Taeda Farms from the ground up.” She pointed out that there will be a lot of work that goes into it all, but she is ready to share the beauty that it has become.

Janelle also shared a picture of the new t-shirts from the company and it read, “Building beauty from the ground up.” Will this company be a health and wellness retreat? There is a lot that Janelle’s fans can expect and they are ready to see the progress in this company.

Janelle pointed out that her fans have been so great with showing support for her new venture. She had an overwhelming amount of orders for the Taeda Farms t-shirts and is so happy about that. She even pointed out that she had to slow down on the orders.

There were a lot of questions about the name of the company and Janelle told her fans, “The name Taeda came from the Latin word for Lobolly pin ‘Taeda Pinus’.” It means ‘torch’ or ‘pinewood used for torches.’ These torches symbolized unity, light, and warmth.
