As Meri tried to make him love her again, she soon discovered that he did not feel the same way about her that he did when they first got married.

Even though Meri has pointed out that Kody treated her horribly for so many years, some viewers feel that Meri could easily get persuaded to go back to Kody.

Fans started to question Meri’s loyalty to Kody on Reddit. One asked if others thought that she would go back to Kody because of her love for him. With all of the viewers who think she will go back to him, there are a lot who feel she is completely done with him.

One wrote, “It was a risk for her to go to the AUB and ask for her spiritual release. They could have denied her but didn’t. To me, that says she’s done. I think that, when this was filmed, she was mourning for the life she expected to have with Kody.”
