Sister Wives Robyn’s Secret Adoption Agenda Outed On Social Media, Just Ahead Of Season 19

Sister Wives fans have always questioned Robyn Brown’s decision to dissolve her ex-husband’s parental rights over their three kids.

Kody Brown ended up adopting the kids, but many viewers have always been skeptical about the couple’s intentions around this.

As Season 19 is fast approaching, the controversy has once again surfaced on social media, with a fan recently unveiling an interesting theory.

“Sister Wives” News – The Adoption Was A Challenging Process

Kody adopting Robyn’s three kids from her previous marriage was challenging. Meri Brown first had to divorce Kody so he could legally become Robyn’s husband. There were additional legal steps after the fact to ensure he could adopt Aurora, Breanna, and Dayton.

While Meri and her kids suffered emotionally through this process, Kody and Robyn provided reasons why the adoption was so important to them, on the show.

A major one was medical insurance for the children, but as Ysabel Brown struggled with pain as waited for her required surgery to correct her spine curvature, the family didn’t maintain their health insurance.

Another factor for the adoption was that Robyn was concerned that if anything happened to her, she wanted her three children to stay a part of the “Sister Wives” family.

Still, many fans wondered if the adoption was because Robyn and Kody needed parental control over the kids so they could be part of the show.

“Sister Wives” News – A New Theory Emerges

A fan recently revealed a new theory about Kody adopting Robyn’s three kids on social media, by using another TLC reality show as an example; Jon & Cate Plus 8’s Jon and Kate Gosselin, who went through a sticky divorce.

While the parents of sextuplets and twins enjoyed reality show fame for years, when the two parted ways, Jon wanted to cut out the cameras and show and have his kids live “normal” lives. Meanwhile, Kate was opposed to the idea.

TLC eventually cut ties with Kate as she went against a judge’s order and okayed the kiddos being filmed, without Jon’s consent.

A fan on social media pointed this all out as a possible reason why Robyn wanted to cut the parental rights of her ex-husband and have Kody adopt her kids. This would allow the three kids to film on the show, without needing legal approval from their biological dad.
