You have to give Meri Brown credit, she let Christine Brown have her glory and marry her husband David Woolley on Sister Wives, before she stole the show and introduced her new boyfriend to the world.  But, unlike Christine’s husband David Woolley, Meri Brown’s new boyfriend has a questionable past.

In Touch broke the story, and revealed that Amos Andrews had financial problems in the past.  The tabloid states, “Sister Wives star Meri Brown’s new man, Amos Andrews, has a history of financial problems.

In Touch can exclusively confirm that Amos filed for chapter 7 bankruptcy on May 8, 2000, in Phoenix, Arizona. His wife at the time, Shannon Marie Andrews, was listed as a copetitioner in the filing, according to online records.

It’s 2024, so it’s really all in the eye of the beholder.  Didn’t we all have financial problems 20 years ago when we were first getting on our feet?

Amos Andrews’ bankruptcy is definitely worth noting, but he has had two decades to get back on his feet.

But, Meri Brown has a successful online clothing shop and owns a bread and breakfast, a reality TV gig, and has no children left to support.  The Sister Wives star should definitely be cautious about who she lets in to the fold.

Let’s be honest though, if we do a side by side comparison of Amos Andrews’ and Kody Brown’s finances over the past twenty years, Amos is clearly the better choice.  Meri Brown definitely upgraded.
