Sister Wives Meri Brown Reacts To Kody Saying She’s The “Wrong Person” To Marry

On September 15, the Browns will be returning to our screens for the 19th season and already we’re being teased with the tension happening as a result of the new family dynamic.

For one, Kody has lost three of his four sister wives and is down to the last one, Robyn, who also happens to be the only one he’s legally married to. But Robyn seems not to be as happy in the monogamous situation as some fans expected.

If you’ve been a fan of the TLC reality series ‘Sister Wives’ for any length of time, you must have gleaned by now that Kody cannot take the blame for anything. This attribute of his is even more pronounced whenever Meri is involved.

“I’m not your wife anymore,” we hear Meri say to him in the trailer, before Kody claps back with, “It’s not divorce that sucks, it’s marrying the wrong person.”

In a confessional, Meri admits to feeling the pain of Kody’s words, saying, “What sucks is marrying the wrong person and not having the decency to tell her until 32 years later.”

Kody, of course, couldn’t care less about Meri’s hurt feelings, as he proclaims, “Blame yourself if I don’t love you, OK?”

Meri was Kody’s first wife, with the duo tying the knot in 1990. Three years later, Janelle Brown joined the relationship and the plural family was born.

In Kody’s own words, this new season of the hit TLC show is a “civil war.”

However, apart from the drama, Garrison Brown’s death and its aftermath will be explored in this season, per the press release shared by TLC.

Since the youngster’s death, many fans have speculated whether it will play into the drama of the upcoming season.

Garrison was one of Kody’s 18 children and his death was said to bring the family closer together in mourning.

“Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown,” Janelle shared on Instagram at the time. “He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him. His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away. We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honoring his memory.”
