‘Sister Wives’ Gabe Brown Reveals Why He Won’t Talk To Kody

In the latest episode of Sister Wives Season 19, Gabe Brown opened up about his dad, Kody Brown, and revealed that he has zero intention of ever talking to him again. Well, it’s not new news that they don’t get along. Probably, everyone can recall how he broke down and cried when the TLC patriarch forgot his birthday.

Gabe Brown & His Dad Clashed During COVID

Garrison Brown and his brother refused to lock themselves down during the coronavirus pandemic. So, Kody told their mom, Janelle to throw them out of the house. Well, she refused, and since then, things went all the way downhill. In fact, Kody disliked his boys so much that he was still estranged when Garrison Brown took his own life this year.

Gabe Brown admitted that the Sister Wives patriarch had reached out to him, but his attitude seemed wrong. For some reason, Kody Brown seemed to think that his son should apologize. As he hadn’t been the bad guy, the TLC son wasn’t about to do that. So, he said, “Hey, unless you’re, like, actually ready to have a relationship and fix things, then we’re not going to talk anymore.”

Kody Brown Reached Out Again

Some time passed, and the Sister Wives dad contacted his son again. This time, he said that he’d “forgiven” Gabe and he wanted Gabe to “forgive” him. Too late, and not enough contrition for his son, he was spurned and probably, they won’t ever become friendly again.

Gabe Brown wanted his dad to take “accountability.” And, he said to his mom:

[Dad’s] like, ‘Hey, I’ve been like thinking about what you’ve been saying. I forgive you, Please forgive me.’ I was like, ‘Forgive me for what?’ Like, what’s going on here?” I told dad that if he doesn’t change and he can’t take accountability, then I just won’t ever see him again. And I’m perfectly OK with that.
