‘Sister Wives’ Fans Slam Gwendlyn Brown – Why?

Gwendlyn Brown tied the knot with Beatriz Queiroz and recently, on Sister Wives, TLC fans saw the bridal shower play out on the show. Many fans slammed Gwen. Read on to find out why the usually popular character is getting roasted. 

Gwendlyn Brown Snubbed Her Mom’s Wedding

Christine Brown was supportive of Gwen when she came out as bisexual. In fact, she proudly shared a lot of photos of Beatriz Queiroz and her lover, Gwen. But, it seems that something was wrong between mother and daughter when Christine married David Woolley. In fact, it was Mykelti who questioned why her sister wasn’t at the wedding. 

Things seem to be less than warm between Christine Brown and Gwendlyn Brown these days. Until now, it remained a mystery as to what went wrong. But, the TLC show might have recently given a hint to the root of the problem. At least, it is a hint judging by reactions from Sister Wives fans.

Gwendlyn Behaves Badly With David Woolley?

TLC fans saw David Woolley was at the bridal shower festivities, and it wasn’t missed by viewers that Gwen seemed to behave in a very immature way. He clapped back slyly, but some people on Reddit believe that she fully deserved it.

When Gwendlyn Brown found out how old David Woolley was — he’s 60 — she started making gagging noises, and acting as if she was gonna throw up. David Woolley reacted to the Sister Wives theatrics by saying, “Your Mom didn’t think I was old last night.”

TLC Fas React By Slamming Gwen

The OP who shared about the scene on Sister Wives to Reddit thought that David Woolley was out of line. They wrote:

Did anyone else catch when David said that at Gwen’s Bridal Shower? Listen Gwen’s gagging/throwing up reaction to David’s age was bad but WTF was THAT. “Your mom didn’t think I was old last night”. Sir this is an engagement party with many of this woman’s children in attendance. So crass and embarrassing. Those two are kind of just awful together…like we get it; you guys have sex.

But in the discussion, some TLC fans went for Gwendlyn Brown rather than for David Woolley. Here are some of those comments:

• Gwen had it coming. Her line of questions were rude as hell, calling him old…And gagging.
• I dropped my jaw watching her gag. That is not appropriate. No matter how funny you think it is, is not appropriate,
• The gagging was so immature. A little child reaction. I cannot imagine doing that as an adult, ever.
• That was CRAZY rude! I definitely lost a bit of respect for Gwen over that. Asking that and gagging- like a middle school boy. I didn’t like David’s response, also childish and crass, but if anyone deserved it she did.
