‘Sister Wives’ Fans Bash Robyn Brown & Kody For Bad Acting

The latest episode of Sister Wives revealed Robyn and Kody Brown getting into a fight over her diminishing respect for him, and how she thought he gave up way too easily with resolving his relationships with kids. Why are fans bashing him, his last remaining wife, and TLC? Read on to find out.

Two Times Robyn Brown Mentioned The Kids

In Season 19 of Sister Wives, Robyn Brown really starts annoying TLC viewers. She always did, but now, fans are calling her out for bad acting. One scene revealed her and her kids all playing being a happy family inside their mansion. At the time, she bleated about how the OG kids don’t contact Ariella and Solomon, and she didn’t know what to say to them. Well, viewers thought the whole scene was badly acted. 

Next, TLC revealed Robyn Brown standing in the snow looking cold, and that was when fans saw the full story that was hinted at in the trailer. She and Kody started fighting and she said that was losing her “respect” for him. At first, many fans thought it was just a storyline to keep them relevant in the show. But some people sniffed a bit of fakery: especially when she accused him of giving up too easily when it came to reconciliation with the OG kids. 

Kody Brown & TLC Set Up A Badly Acted Fiction?

On Reddit, Sister Wives fan u/Free_butterfly_ raised a theory that has been circulating on social media, that the scene might have been shot in March after Garrison’s death. They wrote:

The theory that Kody and Robyn’s “fight” took place in March 2024. Can anyone share the evidence behind this? I’ve heard that…The snow on the ground doesn’t quite make sense for November 2022, given that all the Thanksgiving footage had no snow on the ground. Robyn’s eyebrows look more from her 2024 era than her 2022 era. Anything else? If this is true, I am so incredibly mad at the production team for facilitating this faux conversation

TLC fans went off and dug deep into the weather records in Flagstaff, and it turned out that the scene could have been shot the previous November because it did snow. But, that didn’t stop fans from believing that whenever it was filmed, it was just a plot to make Robyh Brown look good, possibly after Garrison’s death.

Nobody in the conversation believed that Robyn gave one minute of her time to worry about whether Kody Brown reconciled with Gabe and the ill-fated Garrison Brown. Here are some of their thoughts:

• I have nothing on which to base this but the minute I saw the fight between K&R I said this was filmed recently – just like the jenga game night. Both scenes, in my completely unsubstantiated opinion, were filmed more recently than the rest of the show. It seems like those scenes are filmed during the same times as the talking heads. So seeing this post I…thought “YES!” Are they fillers for other parts that may include Garrison?
• I don’t know when it was filmed, but it seems pretty obvious it was planned and poorly acted out with an agenda to support Robyn’s redemption arc.
• I think this is recent. Just like the family night game was recent. they brought up past events to make it appear older, but I think this was after garrison passed. They both got a lot of hate on social media and this is an attempt to make him look hurt and betrayed, and her to look like she supports relationships with the other kids. This never mattered to her or bothered her before.
• This was the most fake/planned fight to make sure their plot points are being told. I feel like their story line this season … is them fighting/ half breaking up and then making up.
