Kody Brown, Christine Brown - Sister Wives - TLC

Kody Brown, the Sister Wives patriarch was sued by Christine Brown Woolley for child support, custody, and paternity issues. Truely Brown, a favorite of TLC fans didn’t have her dad on her birth certificate, hence the paternity question. Now a court conference date was set for December

Kody Brown Files A Response To Lawsuit

On the Sister Wives show, TLC fans saw that Truely seemed indifferent to her mom leaving her dad and going to Utah. Despite not spending much time with her, her father claimed that he didn’t want her to leave. Anyway, he didn’t seem to care enough to pay any child support, according to Christine Brown. So, she sued him.

When Kody Brown submitted his response to the lawsuit, very few details emerged. That’s because Truely’s a minor and only lawyers and the court can access the facts. Most of the documentation will be kept secret from casual Sister Wives fans and other members of the public.

Court Hearing Date Set For December 18

TLC fans heard that the paternity issue might have been addressed already. The court date set is for a “case management conference,” according to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup. Although it will be heard in Utah, Kody Brown won’t need to travel as it will be done virtually.

Whatever the outcome is probably won’t come out in much detail, as once again, the case between the two Sister Wives stars remains under wraps. Apparently, the court also ruled that none of the lawsuit proceedings may be filmed for the TLC show.

More About Truely Brown

At the moment, Truely lives with her mom and her new husband, David Woolley. She was born in April 2010 and nearly lost her life to kidney failure and dehydration as a young child. The teenager loves reading and getting together with her many siblings and half-siblings. Christine and Kody Brown produced six kids, including Mykelti. Aspyn, Ysabel, Gwendlyn, Paedon, and Truely. Truely is the youngest of them and the only one living at home.

TLC fans like the young teen because she seems to be fun-loving, but serious about her schoolwork. As she’s grown up in front of the Sister Wives cameras, some people suspect that she might study theater and drama. As a young child, she enjoyed putting on solo plays and skits for the family to enjoy. The gregarious kid fits in well with the large family of David Woolley, and recently, she helped some of the kids bake spooky things for Halloween.
