Sister Wives 19: Kody And Robyn Busted Faking Fight Scene

Sister Wives Season 19 has been rather uneventful so far, of course the fact that we are seeing scenes that were filmed back in 2022 kind of takes away any shock value. The Brown Family is notorious for their reality TV series airing things on TLC that we already knew about a year ago.  

Robyn Brown has always been the apple of Kody Brown’s eye on Sister Wives, the couple rarely has a disagreement on camera. In fact, Kody and Robyn are usually on the same side in family arguments and most of the time they are facing off against the other wives.

Fans were sure to tune in last Sunday to see the “Big Kody and Robyn Fight” the network has been teasing all season.  But, a lot of Sister Wives viewers were rather disappointed. 

Robyn sobbed in the driveway and begged Kody to try harder to fix his relationships with his kids, and Kody shouted about being “laser-focused.” 

The argument was uncomfortable to watch and The Brown Family certainly won’t be getting any Emmy nods this year.  

It’s no secret that a lot of reality TV shows have cast members reenact certain conversations or events for the cameras.  A lot of reality shows even have a writing staff. 

A popular theory on Sister Wives message boards is that TLC thinks some drama between Kody and Robyn will boost ratings, and their ceremonious “fight” was scripted.  If that’s their endgame, they might want to sign the Brown’s up for acting classes.  

In case you thought Kody Brown’s big speech was genuine, you should probably check out the super hip jacket he is sporting.

According to Showbiz Cheatsheet, “A Reddit user familiar with the brand of jacket Kody is spotted wearing in his argument scene with Robyn notes that the colorway he is sporting wasn’t available when season 19 was filmed.

They note that Kuhl released the colorway that Kody is wearing in the scene in the fall of 2023, about a year after the fight supposedly took place. 

 While the jacket model was released years earlier, the specific color combination that Kody is sporting in the scene is still listed as a “new color” on the company’s website.”
