TLC Fans Don’t See Robyn Brown As A Victim

Sister Wives fans who watched the show for many years always think of Meri Brown, Janelle, and Christine as the victims of manipulative Robyn. As Kody Brown is estranged from the OG kids, they are also viewed as victims and the root cause, people believe, is his only remaining wife. 

TLC fans are convinced that from the moment Robyn Brown set her eyes on Kody Brown, she wanted him for herself. While she claimed that she always wanted a polygamous family, hardly any viewers believed her. However, a recent photo that arrived on social media made some fans pause and wonder about her being a “victim” of her upbringing.

Sister Wives fans saw a throwback photo of Kody’s only wife left standing, and it looked like something from The Little House on the Prairie. Kody’s wife is not that old, so the photo could have been taken sometime in the 1990s.

On Reddit, u/cynicalSista shared the photo of young Robyn Brown. Speaking about Robyn’s kids, they told their fellow TLC fans:

TLC Fans Discuss The ‘Victim’

In the discussion that followed, some people pointed out that probably, Robyn Brown was a victim of her mother. Here are some of their feelings about it:

• The first picture is very FLDS before Warren took over. I wonder if she has connections to that group?
• A purity ring! She’s just a little girl there. What the heck?
• This makes me feel a little sorry for her. Maybe she didn’t even have a chance to become a mature whole person.
• I am no Robyn fan, but she does deserve some grace. This picture shows that she really did grow up in a cult just like Meri and Christine. I imagine a lot of her manipulative tactics she learned by observing how to survive.
• At some point, people will see that she actually was a victim too.
