Savannah Chrisley - YouTube - Unlocked

Chrisley Knows Best alum Savannah Chrisley is so stressed because her mom, Julie Chrisley has to appear in court for her resentencing. Why the worry? Well, she was refused permission to attend via Zoom and has to appear in person. And, that brings scary possibilities and a lot of alleged hardship. Read on to find out more.

Savannah Chrisley Was Excited But Not Anymore

When Todd and Julie’s oral arguments were approved, it was a rarity. Very few cases go back for consideration on the 11th Circuit. While Todd Chrisley got no changes to his sentence, his wife did. Her sentence was found to be wrong, and the charges were vacated. Initially, that made their daughter excited because she could go home sooner than expected

Savannah Chrisley hopes that her mom will be home by Thanksgiving. If that happens, then it means that she already served her required sentence. But, Julie Chrisley has to get to the court first. Right now, she is held at a Kentucky prison. And, it’s not an easy thing to get to the court in Atlanta. So, that upset the family.

Julie Chrisley Has To Travel In Shackles

Chrisley Knows Best fans who follow Savannah on social media know that she feels the prison conditions are very harsh. But, from her point of view, the judge who insists her mom attends court in person is being unfair. After all, it’s apparently common practice to attend via Zoom, and the prison does have the facilities for that.

For those wondering what’s going on right now. The judge denied our motion for my mother to attend her hearing via Zoom. When you are in prison it is VERY customary to attend via Zoom. What does this mean?

The former Chrisley Knows Best star explained a bit more, saying, “My mother will be shackled and transported for the next month… plane… bus… etc. with men.. some… are VIOLENT. I don’t know when I will hear from her next. This punishment does NOT fit the alleged crime.”

Why there is the insistence on personal attendance in the court, isn’t clear. No doubt, some people will look out for photographs or artist’s sketches of the former reality TV star without Botox and makeup. That humiliation alone could weigh on Julie’s mind. While critics love to point and laugh, there are minor children at home who never committed a crime.
