Prince Harry’s decision to earn money off his family’s back by penning a memoir, which speaks largely negative of them, did not receive praise from royal critics when it dropped over a year ago, and it sure isn’t receiving praises now.
Wading in on the conversation, albeit a bit late, is royal biographer Arthur Edwards MBE, who said King Charles was “very upset” by the while thing.
Royal Expert Says King Charles May “Not Easily” Forgive Prince Harry After His Memoir Attacks
There were a lot controversies in Harry’s memoir, like that time William allegedly labelled Meghan as “difficult” and another time Prince William and Princess Kate convinced Harry to step out in the “Nazi” uniform that landed him into so much trouble he was forced to apologize for it.
If you can remember, soon after the book hit the shelves, King Charles kicked him out of his Frogmore Cottage home, so at least we know the King didn’t find it in good taste.
Speaking to The Sun’s Matt Wilkinson on Harry’s behavior following his massive royal fallout, royal photographer Arthur Edwards said: “I remember going working with [Harry], he was fantastic, he was just amazing, and he was – especially with children, he was absolutely brilliant. And I travelled the world with him and I did really enjoy working with him, but you know, now, I really don’t care if I have to see him again.”
He added: “Because the way he has behaved towards the King, our Queen, and his brother and his sister-in-law is appalling. And I just feel it’s about time he realised that.”
Even though William is yet to comment on any part of the book – even the part where he allegedly KO’ed Harry so hard he shattered a dog bowl with his back – royal fans and experts alike have rebuked Harry’s decision to write “Spare.”
Before we forget, Harry received a $20 million advance for “Spare,” so I doubt the decision was a tough one for him to make.
Arthur Edwards Says Prince Harry Acted Poorly Towards His Family
Harry might have recalled King Charles begging him and brother William not to make his final days a misery, but uh… $20 million called and he couldn’t just send it to voicemail.
Arthur Edwards, however, doesn’t think the price justifies Harry selling out his family like that.
He said: “[Harry] is behaving, sometimes, I think, appallingly.
Certainly some of the things he’s said about members of the Royal Family, and Camilla, and Catherine, and his brother. I think you just don’t do that with family, you know?”
The royal biographer added: “Family’s the most important thing in your life and you do everything to keep the family together and at peace.”
