Royal Expert Praises Prince William For Keeping It Together During Royal Family’s Health Battles

Imagine how January must have felt for Prince William, with the cancer diagnosis of his father King Charles and wife Princess Kate almost happening back to back.

Despite this, after taking a brief break in the earlier days to be there for his wife as she enters treatment, he’s since returned to royal duties. And people are simply praising his stoic in the face of all these truly heartbreaking challenges.

Royal Source Says Prince William Feels A Sense of “Duty” To Uphold Monarchy Amid Stressful Days

Apart from getting the hopeful updates and a dazzling picture of Princess Kate – yes I said dazzling and I meant it – we were also told she’ll attend the King’s birthday parade.

So that’s happy. But let’s face it, uncertainty is stressful, and while William keeps his demeanor in public, it doesn’t mean he’s not feeling the pain of the whole situation.

“It’s been stressful,” a source confessed to US Weekly, going on to add that William is merely holding it together for the sake of the Monarchy. “William feels a profound sense of duty to uphold the monarchy’s stability and inspire confidence in the public that everything will be okay. It’s an immense responsibility.”

Speaking on William “still being himself” amid it all, longtime royal photographer Samir Hussein – who, along with his father has photographed the Royal Family for many years – said it’s a “positive” thing that William is putting up a brave face during engagements.

“I think it remains very positive that Prince William has really stepped up to the mark with the King being out of action for a few months,” he said. “Prince William’s been through so much, obviously, with what’s been happening with Kate, which we didn’t know about for so long. I think he’s done remarkably well in really, really trying circumstances.”

“He’s still being himself on engagements, he’s still been joking when he meets with the public. I think you can see this, just, determination from him to come through this, both for his father and his wife [during] what must be incredibly tough times for him.”
