Reason Meghan Markle Keeps Kids Away From Royals Revealed By Expert

Recently, royal expert Ingrid Seward opined that King Charles wants to have a better relationship with his Sussex grandkids and is actively looking for ways to mend the rift with Harry.

However, another royal expert Hugo Vickers believes the reason the King doesn’t get to have a proper relationship with the children is because Meghan wants to have control.

Meghan Markle Wants “Control” So Is Keeping Her Children From Interacting With the Royal Family

The last time King Charles probably met Archie and Lilibet was when they traveled back to the UK with their parents in 2022. Since then, they’re yet to make a return to the island.

Apart from the security struggle, Hugo Vickers believes the reason Meghan is keen to keep them from their royal relatives is to preserve her Californian bubble and keep her self-inflicted chaos from creeping through.

He said: “I mean, I’m sure [Meghan just] wants to be in control.”

This means the children will miss out on most royal events and have limited contact with their father’s family, unless things change in the future.

“I think the problem for the children, as I see it, is that yes they’re probably having a very nice time being brought up in California. I’m sure it’s a lovely place to be brought up,” Hugo said.”But there’s going to come a point when they realise that they are actually cousins to the British Royal Family, and that they could have taken part in all the sort of things that Prince William’s children take part in.”

“And you know they don’t, even, as far as I can see, know, their cousins at all, and that surely must be quite tricky and disappointing really, for them.”

King Charles Keen On Repairing Relationship With Prince Harry

Charles is reportedly keen on fixing his rift with son Harry in order to have a proper relationship with Archie and Lilibet.

“Family has always been important to the king,” Ingrid Seward told the Express. “He remembers his own somewhat fragmented childhood as his parents were always busy doing their duty. It is a great sadness to him he doesn’t see more of Archie and Lilibet.”

Insiders have previously shared that the monarch “is open to doing whatever it takes to make sure that his relationship with Archie and Lilibet goes beyond the occasional FaceTime call.”
