Princess Eugenie Caught In The Middle of Prince Andrew and Sarah’s Christmas Plans

The Duke of York has shown himself to be quite the character, with the whole scandal about his association with Chinese spy Yang Tengbo reportedly not fazing him too much.

Yes, he might not be taking part in various Royal Family festive gatherings, but that doesn’t mean that he’s ultimately withdrawing from public life. At least that’s what sources close to him say.

And in case you’re wondering, he’s not looking forward to vacating Royal Lodge anytime soon. Go figure.

Princess Beatrice To Spend Christmas With Father Andrew After Suddenly Changing Christmas Plans

Princess Beatrice had originally planned to travel this Christmas to join her inlaws in Italy, but due to her advanced pregnancy, doctors have advised her to change her plans.

What this means is that there’s going to be more royals at Sandringham Castle this year, and well, as they say, the more the merrier.

This will also allow the Princess, 38, to spend time with her father, who is currently in the eye of another scandal with the whole “close confidante” business with the alleged Chinese spy.

Speaking to The Telegraph, royal biographer Ingrid Seward opined that Beatrice will likely spend part of her festive season with her parents.

She told The Telegraph: “Somehow or other, I think that Fergie and Andrew will be with Beatrice, Edo and the kids, either at Royal Lodge or the in-laws. [Beatrice] is very close to her father and will want to support him and be with him at this time. I cannot possibly see Fergie sitting alone at Royal Lodge.”

“She has lots of friends and family and would want to be with them. Andrew possibly wouldn’t mind. He would sit there in front of the TV, but Sarah would organise something with Beatrice.”

It will be very sweet if Beatrice could pop in to spend Christmas with her old man, especially since he is set for a lonely one at Windsor.

Buckingham Palace officially confirmed the Princess’s pregnancy in October with a statement that read, “Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their second child together in early spring; a sibling for Wolfie, aged eight, and Sienna, aged three.”

King Charles’ reaction to the news was also touched on at the time, as the message added, “His Majesty The King has been informed and both families are delighted with the news.”
