Princess Charlotte’s Friends Call Her By A Different Name From Her Registered School Name

The Prince and Princess of Wales have always been said to desire a normal life for their children, and at least in this instance, they got it.

Like most kids her age, Princess Charlotte has been granted a cute nickname by her friends. Lottie Wales.

Yes, even though the Princess is registered as Charlotte Cambridge in school, her friends have seen it fit to brand her by the name her mom and dad now bears publicly: the Prince and Princess of Wales.

However, per a story shared by an Instagram influencer last year, Charlotte’s classmates are not the only one who calls Charlotte by that endearing nickname.

While on a walkabout in Northern Ireland, Kate Middleton met Instagram influencer Laura-Ann and her two-year-old son George.

During their conversation, Kate told George, “Hello, what’s your name? Hi George, what a cool name you’ve got, and you look very smart in your bowtie. It’s very nice to meet you.”

Laura-Ann, a part-time estate agent from Belfast, revealed she had gone to Windsor Park specifically to meet Prince William and Kate.

She documented the encounter on her Instagram page, revealing that while talking to her older son, the Duchess said to her: “So then she asked how old Bertie is, and I said he is four and she said, ‘Oh, he’s the same age as Lottie’. She calls her Lottie!”

Charlotte also got a cheeky name from her parents due to her fiesty attitude, which we’ve often seen her display in public on rare occasions. According to Vanity’s Royal Correspondent Katie Nicholl, the fond parents call their daughter “Warrior Princess.”

Additionally, back in 2018, a fellow shopper overheard Kate tell her daughter to “get up poppet.”

So just like normal children, Princess Charlotte gets called endearing names by both her friends and parents.
