Prince William's Annual Salary As the Prince of Wales RevealedOkay, how do I get on the quickest flight to Europe because I need to find me a prince. You know, I’ve always wondered why Cinderella didn’t just tell her Fairy Godmother to make her a bazillionaire instead of sending her to a ball to meet some Prince, but now, I might kinda understand why. Prince William‘s annual salary is mouthwatering. Here’s what it is.

See What Prince William Made In His First Full Year As the Prince of Wales

Prince William’s first report as the Prince of Wales was published on Wednesday (July 24), and it revealed what he made in his first full year rocking the title.

William, 42, took over the position when his father vacated it during his accession to the throne, following the Queen’s death in 2022.

Along with the Prince of Wales title, he also inherited the Duke of Cornwall title, which comes with the duchy of Cornwall estate.

The estate alone is made up of land and property said to be worth more than a billion pounds. And while that’s impressive and all, the dad of three’s annual salary is even more so.

In the 2023/2024 annual year, he earned £23.6mil, per the report published by the estate’s Integrated Annual Report.

The distributable surplus is put back into the public funding and is used to support charities championed by Prince William and Princess Kate, along with managing private activities enjoyed by the Wales family.

The annual report, however, further revealed that William possesses no access to its capital value and pays income tax on the annual revenue.

Prince William reportedly manages the property “in harmony with The Prince of Wales’s goals so that it can be passed with pride to future generations.”

During King Charles’ long run as the Prince of Wales, he aimed to reduce the carbon footprint of the estate and introduced practices like organic farming and wildlife preservation.

As the Prince of Wales, William seems focused on his dream to rid the UK of homelessness and has launched a project that will see the development of some of the lands in the Duchy of Cornwall. The end goal is to provide the less fortunate with housing needs.
