Last year wasn’t a very easy one for our Princess of Wales, as she ended it in the shadow of a book designed to bring her pain.
Apart from being named as one of two royal racists, Omid Scobie also dedicated whole pages to bashing her and calling her things like “lazy” and “enigmatic.”
However, we’re in a New Year, and reportedly, her husband is looking forward to spoiling her rotten. Damn the haters, I say.
Prince William Feels He Hasn’t Lived Up To Promise He Made Michael and Carole Middleton
In case you’ve forgotten, on Jan. 9 Princess Kate will celebrate her 42nd birthday. If you remember correctly, the royal celebrated a low-key 40th birthday due to the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee falling into that same year.
However, all’s well, because, according to Jennie Bond, Kate Middleton is about to get the party she’s always deserved.
She said: “William will spoil her rotten this year because it’s been a really tough time for her.”
According to Bond, part of William’s “guilt” came from the fact that he feels he didn’t live up to the promise he made her parents when he claimed her hand in marriage.
She explained: “William feels guilty and angry because he promised Kate’s parents that he would protect and look after her. The attacks from Omid Scobie were vicious, so William will feel guilty because all she’s done is fall in love with someone who happened to be a future King.”
She added: “There’s obviously a lot of baggage that comes with this – it’s a unique and different life which you’ve got to have a very thick skin for.”
To make up for the hardships she’s endured for marrying him, William will probably be planning something special to surprise her with.
“He’s probably got a little bit of romance in him somewhere, and even though he says he’s not a very good cook. Kate did tell Mary Berry that he’s quite good at breakfasts, so a special tray complete with a rose could arrive early for Kate,” she opined, adding, “I imagine they will spend some quality time with their children, as it’s the last day of their Christmas holiday before they return to school, but perhaps a candle-lit champagne dinner will be on the cards.”
