Prince Harry Holds Talks About Marking the Invictus Anniversary in the UK With His Wife and Children

It’s been two years since Prince Harry’s children, Archie and Lilibet, visited the UK, and sources are saying Harry is eager to bring them with him when and if he makes a trip to the UK to celebrate an important Invictus Games anniversary this coming May. Yup, Invictus Games is turning the big 1–0.

Prince Harry Reportedly Considering Celebrating Invictus Games Milestone Anniversary in UK

When Harry traveled to the UK to see the King ahead of his cancer diagnosis earlier this month, he was unaccompanied by his family.

However, as Invictus Games anniversary approaches, a close source is saying that he means to return to the UK to celebrate it, and he doesn’t want to make the trip solo.

The source claimed that he’s in “government level talks” to bring his family to attend a service at St Paul’s Cathedral as a way to celebrate, though Meghan is said to be hesitant.

A source told OK!: “The move to bring the Invictus Games back to Britain is seen as an opportunity for Harry and he is very keen to take it. He is adamant that he wants Meghan and the children to join him, but I think she may be apprehensive and I think she finds being in the UK very uncomfortable.”

Since attending the Queen’s funeral in 2022, Meghan is yet to visit the UK, not even to attend King Charles’ accession ceremony, which took place the following year.

The source said: “Harry is very keen for his entire family to join him… It’s important for him that they show a united front and focus on building bridges with the rest of the Royal Family.”

The source continued: “I think Meghan knows that she hasn’t been wanted in the past so why would it be any different this time around? The couple know they won’t be able to repair things with the Prince and Princess of Wales just yet, but there is hope that the King will be able to bring the families closer together.”

The source opined: “I wouldn’t be surprised if there are lots of calls and Zoom meetings planned, to try to iron these things out before the duchess agrees to head over to England.”

Royal author Omid Scobie has previously said that Meghan is adamant she doesn’t want to step foot in the UK again, because she refuses “to dive back into the soap opera.”
