Prince Harry “Frightened” But King Charles Won’t Pick His Calls

Prince Harry “Frightened” But King Charles Won't Pick His CallsPrince Harry is reportedly anxious to protect his wife and family, but his insistence is driving a bigger wedge between him and his father.

With King Charles battling with cancer, he’s not in the frame of mind to be disturbed by Harry’s demands, so he did what any reasonable adult would do when he doesn’t want one person’s continuous disturbance; he stopped picking Harry’s calls. Simple?

Prince Harry Reportedly Pestering Father Because He Believes King Charles Holds Sway Over His Security Battle

For a quick recap: Harry is currently still locked in a legal battle with RAVEC over the level of security he and his family are provided with in the UK.

But for some time it seemed that Charles and Harry were working on fixing their rift and all things would soon be as it were with reopened communication and mutual trust, but then things crumbled.

In his chat with The Daily Mail’s Palace Confidential podcast, Robert Jobson shared an insight into what led to the dissolution of their relationship just as all was starting to seem good again.

Speaking on the reason King Charles doesn’t pick Harry’s calls, Jobson said, “He has taken them in the past, but I think anybody that knows the situation, who would want to keep taking calls if the conversation just ends in a slanging match about money and legal fees?”

You’d think maybe Harry would consider that his father is recovering from cancer before piling on the complaints, but that, according to Jobson, wasn’t the case.

Jobson added: “I think the King has got too much on his plate. He’s been not well at all and he’s been dealing with that. He’s only just become the King, he’s got too much to deal with, rather than dealing with Harry’s constant demands.”

However, the “constant demands” isn’t all that’s fracturing Charles’ relationship with his son.

As royal commentator Richard Eden previously pointed out, Harry was ready to hand his last communication wih the King to the media almost as immediately as it took place.

So with a betrayal such as this, it’s understandable the King thinks twice every time a call from Harry comes in.

Needless to say, according to Jobson, the decision to cut Harry off was obviously a “difficult” one.

“He obviously still loves his son – of course he does – and he loves his grandchildren, but when he’s got that call coming and you’re dealing with the fallout from maybe William, maybe Queen Camilla, saying ‘why are you doing this?’ It must be very difficult.”
