Prince Harry And Meghan Snubbed By Royal Family, Did Not Receive Invitation to Spend Christmas at Sandringham

One of Prince Harry’s favorite traditions growing up is slipping away from his kids as the Royal Family feud lingers on.

For what would be their sixth Christmas away from Sandringham, Harry and Meghan have not been extended any invites to join the family over the coming holidays. Harry did receive an invite from his uncle Charles Spencer. Wonder whether he’ll honor it.

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle To Spend Sixth Christmas Away From Royal Family

It’s starting to seem like Harry and Meghan will be spending 2024’s Christmas in the US with their small family, and possibly Meghan Markle’s mother Doria Ragland.

Perhaps a few friends with young children will drop in during the holidays as a way of getting playmates for Archie and Lilibet, but that big family experience at Sandringham will have to wait a bit longer for relations to get better between the Sussexes and the rest of the Royal Family.

At this point, I guess it won’t come as a surprise to fans that the duo were not considered for the big Sandringham Christmases the Royal Family are known for, since they were also not invited to this year’s Trooping the Colour that took place in June.

While Harry continues to return to the UK for various reasons throughout this year, it is believed that the last time he had a face-to-face meeting with his father was in February, shortly after the news of King Charles’ cancer diagnosis broke.

Meghan Markle Found Her First Christmas At Sandringham “Amazing”

Since getting married in 2018, the couple have only spent a total of two Christmases at Sandringham. The very first one happened in 2017, shortly after they announced their engagement on Nov. 27.

“I remember so vividly the first Christmas at Sandringham,” Meghan fondly recalled on Netflix’s docuseries ‘Harry and Meghan.’ “Calling my mom, and she’s like, ‘How’s it going?’ And I said, ‘Oh my gosh, it’s amazing.’ ”

“It’s just like a big family like I always wanted,” Meghan continued. “And there was just this constant movement and energy and fun.”
