Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Want To Be Seen As Individuals

Prince Harry surprised fans when he took off soon after his 40th birthday to travel the world and promote charitable causes alone. Prior to that, the couple had done joint engagements in Nigeria and Colombia.

Mind you, Harry’s solo mission more or less coincided wih The Hollywood Reporter’s Meghan Markle bullying report, which made his crusade, and his silence on the matter, all the more perplexing.

This has led to divorce rumors bubbling under the surface. Happily, the Sussex couple’s latest separation is not down to a disquiet within the family circle, but a certain understanding that they should both be seen as individuals in their jobs.

Meghan Markle Wants To Build An “Independent” Brand Away From Prince Harry

Meghan Markle has always made it clear that she wants her and Harry to be individuals, even though they are married. This has probably led to her launching American Riviera Orchard on her own, desiring no contributions from her husband.

This is also probably why they’ve chosen to do multiple solo projects for Netflix; Harry and Invictus and the Polo docuseries and Meghan and her cooking show.

“Meghan and Harry have been branching out on their own more and more these days,” an insider told OK Magazine. “They want to be seen as individuals doing good work, not just as a couple. He has his charities, she has hers.”

“It’s important for Meghan to stand out independently,” the insider continued.

The insider then pointed to the red Herrera dress Meghan wore during her solo charity outing at the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Gala as one of the signs she wants to be her own figure.

While she was criticized for the dress, the insider claimed that “Harry would never criticize her,” no matter what she wore.

While it’s all well and good that they’ve decided to go separate paths, this will of course ruin the Hollywood Power Couple they no doubt tried so hard to cultivate.
