Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Are Struggling With Hollywood’s Dislike

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s reputation in Hollywood is reportedly in so much tatters that their recent goodwill charity runs have done very little to rehabilitate it.

This, of course, is not sitting well with the couple who landed in America with the dreams of becoming its next power couple, not to be made its laughingstock.

So, how is this affecting them really and do they have any plans to spring back into the public’s good graces? A source has given us answers.

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Ruined Netflix’s “Candy” Offering

Fresh off from quitting the Royal Family and basking in the warm glow of popularity, Harry and Meghan were approached by Netflix and before long had sealed a multi-million dollar contract with the giant streaming platform.

Signing the contract was easy, delivering was the hard part. When it came time to make due on their promise, and the money Netflix had already thrown at them no doubt, they failed to live up to expectations.

Reports hint that Netflix plans to let their contract run out in 2025, with no plans of renewal being discussed. So while it lasted longer, it’s still going to go the way of their Spotify contract.

But let’s not say for sure, since Harry’s golf docuseries and Meghan’s cooking show might turn things around. However, OK! Magazine’s source believes there’s very little chance of that happening.

“Netflix was handing out vanity deals like candy at the time and so everybody just shrugged their shoulders and assumed their company wouldn’t get much done despite the generous backing,” the source told the outlet.

“But even Harry and Meghan naysayers would have been shocked at how little they’ve actually achieved,” they added.

Given that the entertainment industry is going through a major shakeup, Harry and Meghan’s piece of the pie keep getting thinner as the days go by and not even their British titles can turn that around.

“And in the more austere climate of the industry in 2024 when thousands of people have lost jobs and the entertainment industry economy is struggling, there’s now a genuine dislike and distrust towards them by some,” the source continued.

Well, maybe that’s why they allegedly bought a home in Portugal?
