Prince Harry And Meghan Don’t Have A Sense of Direction As They Struggle To Find Footing

Prince Harry And Meghan Don't Have A Sense of Direction As They Struggle To Find FootingPrince Harry and Meghan Markle’s tour of Colombia has been deemed lackluster, as citizens barely turn up to receive them despite military and police protection coming out in full force.

The Sussexes were formally invited to the country by the Vice-president, who claimed she was moved after watching the couple’s Netflix documentary ‘Harry and Meghan.’

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s Visit To Colombia Has No Clear Agenda

On Aug. 15, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle touched down in Colombia to kick off their controversial tour of the country.

On arrival, they were welcomed by Colombia’s Vice President Francia Márquez and her husband Rafael Yerney Pinillo. They then drove to the VP’s house, spending half-an-hour at the residence, where they were said to exchange greetings and gifts. They were also offered tea, coffee and traditional pandebono – Colombian cheese bread.

The trip was advertised as something that is being done to being awareness to the dangers of cyberbullying, with Harry and Meghan being invited as keynote speakers at a summit addressing that specific issue.

However, royal expert Victoria Murphy claimed that she doesn’t see the importance of their visit.

In an interview with The Sun’s Matt Wilkinson, she said: “We don’t know who they’re going to meet. When Sophie Duchess of Edinburgh met Francia Márquez, she was there representing Britain so it was very clear what Sophie represented, and it was not the interest of the Colombian government.”

“That’s what the working royals have, their message, their purpose, their representation is very clear when they go to other countries. With Harry and Meghan it’s not clear what Archewell’s stance is on a lot of things, in the same way.”

She continued: “There’s no doubt it will draw attention, but what is the purpose of that attention and how well thought through is it being channeled?”

The problem, according to Murphy, isn’t the “absolutely brilliant” cause that Harry and Meghan are championing, it’s the couple’s lack of strategy to effectively get the message across enough to make a meaningful impact.
