Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are consciously uncoupling their professional lives. Some believe it’s to try and rehabilitate their controversial image, while others believe the couple simply don’t want work arguments eating into their relationship.

If you want to see two people who have created a brand out of trashing their family members, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are perfect role models.

Maybe it was not a conscious decision to style their brand so, but now that they have, rebranding is the word of the day and it’s not coming as easy as they might have hoped.

In fact, rebranding Sussex was so hard the couple decided to go their separate ways professionally.

Harry’s strategy is currently outpacing Meghan’s, but many agree that she’s got an ace up her sleeve.

Commentator Richard Fitzwilliam weighed in on this in a recent chat with GB News, saying that the couple’s recent professional separation is a way to worm their way back into the public’s goodwill.

“This is obviously a new tactic. As in every brand the Sussexes want to promote their brand as best as they can,” Fitzwilliams told GB News.“They have tried something that has worked with the so-called royal tours of Nigeria and Colombia. Then we have got the solo engagements, so they are experimenting.”

He added: “The Sussexes need to keep their profile as they can’t attack the royal family at the moment, so now they have to think up new devices.”

The “new devices” that they’ve thought up is a polo series and a cooking show. Harry’s Netflix polo documentary has already dropped its first teaser ahead of its December 10 premiere. Just judging from its teaser, you can tell that the documentary plans to follow the drama as much as the game.
