Welcome to Plathville star Olivia Plath visited Morocco and dumped plenty of photos for TLC fans. While she was there, she set a great example for influencers: something Whitney Way Thore could learn from. Read on to find out more.
Olivia Plath Visited Morocco
Ethan Plath rode off into the sunset to face his demons after Olivia refused to reconsider a divorce. He rode for thousands of miles on his motorbike. Maybe he thought about how he told Olivia he wanted kids, but just not with her. Well, she took herself further afield than the USA and ended up in Morocco recently.
Morocco is a popular destination and Kelly Ripa enjoys going there with her husband, Mark Consuelos. Another TV star who went there before Oliva Plath was Whitney Way Thore. The trouble was, the My Big Fat Fabulous star got roasted by TLC fans, unlike the Welcome to Plathville star.
TLC Star Sets An Example To Influencers
When Whitney Way Thore visited Morocco, she found a street cat, got all emotional, fell in love, and wanted to take it home with her. Some fans were astonished that she cuddled a cat that looked a bit crusty and probably wasn’t vaccinated. Well, when Olivia went there, she saw a street cat. But, she took a photo and left it alone.
Welcome to Plathville fans also saw that Olivia Plath had a photo taken with a camel. Whitney Way Thore also found the camels in Morocco. She hoisted herself on top of one and went for a ride. So, fans roasted her for encouraging the exploitation of animals, per TV Shows Ace.
Nope To Riding Camels
Amy Slaton from 1000-Lb Sisters was bitten by a camel, but that’s not why people frown on TLC stars riding them. The animals in Morocco are reportedly not well-treated. So, paying to ride them encourages more exploitation. One Welcome to Plathville fan who saw a photo on Instagram of Olivia Plath near a camel asked if she had ridden one.
In her reply, the TLC star assured her fans that she didn’t ride it. Here is her reason why:
…after visiting them it seemed unethical for me to ride so I decided to forego. Spent my time there giving them scratches and love instead.
Now that’s how it should be done! Do you agree that Olivia Plath did the right thing?
