‘My Big Fat Fabulous Life’ Will Return With A New Season

My Big Fat Fabulous Life first premiered in January 2015. And that means in January next year, the show will have been running for a decade. That’s a notable amount of time, and it seems that a new season will return to TLC to put that feather in Whitney Way Thore’s cap. 

Each Season Of My Big Fat Fabulous Life Fans Hope Is The Last

The problem that critics have with Whitney Way Thore is that the show is supposed to be all about her fabulous life. But, in the opinion of TLC fans, nothing fabulous happened for a very long time. Instead, it degenerated into a show about a woman fast approaching middle age who is desperate for a man.

Season after season, TLC fans see Whitney WayThore chasing after men. Any man will do, it seems, as long as they like cats. Also, some My Big Fat Fabulous Life fans believe that TLC hired paid actors to date her. Which seems pathetic and rather sad. Well, it seems that the manhunt will return for another season next year.

My Big Fat Fabulous Life Returns For The 10th Year 

There have been more than 10 seasons, and notably, in 2021, the show aired twice. But, ten years on the screen is kind of a big deal. So, it’s not a huge surprise that there will be another season on TLC. Recently fans discussed the new season that was leaked via Whitney Way Thore. 

On Reddit, My Big Fat Fabulous Life fan u/Enough_Grand_1648 shared the news about the new season on TLC. They wrote:

She mentioned yesterday on IG that the new season will start filming in January! So…hold on y’all! She’s coming back!

TLC Fans Discuss The New Season

It turned out that TLC fans were interested in the new season, even if it was just to speculate what might be in it. Here are some of their reactions from the discussion:

• She announce[d] Jamie’s pregnancy on her IG, so that definitely helped her secure another season. Outside of that, I don’t see what else she could feature on another season. 
• Ugh, I’m glad I quit watching. I shudder to think how she’ll try to take over the pregnancy. Here’s Uncle (great-Uncle?) Whitney! Baby showers, birth classes, doctor appointments, constantly pawing Jamie’s stomach, and playing a star role in the delivery room, and who knows what else.
• We will all get to [see] WHITness…turn 41, be dateless, husbandless, childless, jobless, friendless. Emmy worthy performances abound.
• I will watch the show next season with my fingers crossed that turning 40 was a wake up call for Whitney and that she will finally go on a diet and lose the weight and make the show about that. She was such a pretty girl in High school.
