My 600-lb Life spoilers reveal that fans are curious about what happened to one of the former cast members, Ontreon Shannon. Ontreon quickly became a fan favorite after he shared his story. His story has been one of the most inspiring and moving in My 600-lb Life history.

Ontreon knew that he needed to lose weight and that his health was just getting worse. He turned to Dr. Now as a way to begin his weight loss journey. Let’s find out where he is now.

My 600-Lb Life Spoilers – Ontreon’s Medical Issues

Ontreon appeared on Season 10 of My 600-Lb Life and he was living in Plano, Texas at the time of the show.

He had battled with his weight for years and he was also dealing with some health issues. Ontreon had advanced diabetes and congestive heart failure.

He had multiple doctors tell him that he would not live to see age 40 and that was when he knew that he had to get help.

At the point where he joined the show, he was taking about 14 medications so that his heart wouldn’t fail.

There were some terrible things going on in his life, but his wife and mother stood by him no matter what. There was a lot of tension between him and his family though.

He had a lot of stress in his life and he was open about how he turned to food to cope. Seeking help was the only thing that he could do at this point in his life and that is where Dr. Now came in.

My 600-Lb Life Spoilers – The Weight Loss Journey

Ontreon was very excited to learn that Dr. Now would help him out on his weight loss journey.

Dr. Now needed to know that Ontreon needed to stick to his diet plan or he would never be able to qualify for weight loss surgery.

Dr. Now didn’t have a sense of commitment from Ontreon, but it turned out that he was ready to lose weight.

Even though Ontreaon tried hard to lose weight quickly, there were a lot of difficulties as he began his weight loss journey. At the end of his episode, he didn’t lose enough weight to qualify for weight loss surgery.

At the final check-in, he actually gained 15 pounds. Ontreon admitted that he still felt good about beginning his weight loss journey.

According to his Facebook account, Ontreon is still trying to lose weight. He is still focused on getting healthier and he is working with a coach to lose weight. He seems to be looking at the brighter side of life and still has a strong faith in God.
