Most Improved GH Character Of 2024 Was …. ?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) has always been a terrific character.

Traditionally, Tracy has taken after her father Edward Quartermaine (the late John Ingle), focusing all her energy on ELQ and scheming against anyone who deemed her enemy.

Tracy was certainly not someone to be messed with and if someone crossed her, they most certainly knew it. For years, that was the main focus of the character.

General Hospital Spoilers – Luke Spencer’s Death Began To Change Tracy Quartermaine

Tracy was devastated when the love of her life, Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) died a few years back. Tracy and Luke even had their own version of happy ever after for a few years until his tragic passing. They lived together in Amsterdam until Luke died.

At that point, Tracy began visiting Port Charles again more frequently, until she eventually moved back home permanently. She began to show a softer side, especially with her granddaughter, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).

GH Spoilers – Gregory Chase Changed Tracy Quartermaine’s Outlook On Life!

Tracy made some very strong connections during this time. Her friendship with Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) was unorthodox, but somehow, they made it work. Then Tracy met Finn’s father, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) and sparks began to fly.

Gregory challenged Tracy in ways no one else ever had. He encouraged her to be better, and shockingly, she did exactly that.

Unfortunately, Gregory was slowly dying so friendship was as far as their relationship ever got. But they both wondered what could have been had they met decades earlier. Tracy also struck up a surprising friendship with Stella Henry (Vernae Watson) around this time.

General Hospital Spoilers – Tracy Quartermaine Has Taken Some Of Lili Quartermaine’s Better Traits

Instead of totally acting like her father, Tracy has also begun to show some traits of her beloved mother, Lila Quartermaine (the late Anna Lee). She will still fight hard and dirty when she has to but now, she also has the ability to show great compassion.

Her friendship with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) isn’t really all that shocking, since he reminds her so much of Luke. It looks like the new, more balanced version of Tracy is here to stay and we are all better for it.
