Model Sues 90 Day Fiancé Star Josh Weinstein Over Preview Models Business

A model by the name of Sharaun Brown is suing 90 Day Fiancé star Josh Weinstein and his model business for illegally using her image.

Meanwhile, according to Preview Models, when they worked with the model, they did everything relating to her image legally. However, they did receive a letter from Sharaun in November, demanding money for what she believes was an unauthorized use of her likeness.

TMZ reports that after Sharaun contacted Josh Weinstein’s company relating to the alleged illegal use of her image, they destroyed all materials relating to the model. Moreover, they said they haven’t heard from the model since then, until now.  Meanwhile, according to Preview Models, they haven’t been served with any papers relating to the suit but if they do, they will defend themselves.

Moreover, they might even countersue Sharaun over the issue. In the lawsuit, Brown claims the TLC reality star’s business, Preview Models, used her photos on its website to promote the company. They allegedly used the photo to promote her as a “Celebrity Mentor,” using her image to lure in new models.

In the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Brown says Preview Models first started using her images in February 2023. They were adding her images to ads for fashion shows, open casting calls and booking services. Meanwhile, Josh’s business aims to get aspiring models on a runway in front of top modeling agencies in Los Angeles. However, Sharaun says Preview Models is using her fame as a model to give the business a promotion to attract models.

Sharaun claims Josh didn’t pay her for the privilege

Now, the model claims that Josh agreed to compensate her for the use of her photos in marketing materials, but she says he hasn’t paid her.

In the documents, Brown claims that when Josh never paid her for the privilege of using the photos, she asked the modeling business to stop using them in any way in or around May 2023. Moreover, the model says Josh’s company makes her look like she endorses the business, but in reality, she doesn’t.

Meanwhile, the model is suing Preview Models for unspecified damages over what she claims is the unauthorized use of the images and violating her right to publicity,.
