Though it’s been months since she launched the brand on Instagram and gained over 600k followers, all we’ve seen of the lifestyle company is the branded jams she sent out to friends and influencers.

However, there’s reason to believe she means to launch the brand’s products in tow with her upcoming Netflix show that will see her cook, clean, and garden.

Since her company will be coming up against hefty competition, Editor-in-Chief of Majesty Magazine, Ingrid Seward, has claimed that she may need to present her homeliness in order to attract fans and make her more relatable.

At the moment, though there is reason to believe Meghan Markle means to make American Riviera Orchard’s products accessible to the general public in terms of pricing, some have suggested she may want to make it high-end and exclusive.

But the main challenge remains: how do you position a new company to attract and retain customers?

Ingrid Seward believes bringing in her family as a mom-of-two will help her speedily connect with more people.

The royal expert told Fabulous: “I feel that they are going to need the addition of their children to kind of burnish their own image.”

She argues that it’s important Archie and Lilibet participate, especially if she means to add a “kiddie line” to her range.

“I think if Meghan’s got her head screwed on right and we all think she has and she’s very smart, I think she would definitely want to go slightly down the kiddie line,” she noted.
“Because most mums do, when they have young children, you want to get involved with them in every way you can. And of course, you see what they like and you see how they react to things.”

Seward continued: “So I think I think very, very likely that Meghan will start to include some sort of kiddie things in her range of jams or whatever she does, maybe specialised children’s food.”

Speaking of going the kiddie route, Meghan published her debut children’s book in 2021.
