Meghan Markle Issues Statement After Solo Prince Harry Engagement Hinting At “Professional Separation”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are seemingly keen on making this so-called “professional separation” work.

Since their last sighting attending Tyler Perry’s birthday party, the couple once said to eye the coveted title of Hollywood’s power couple has been flying solo. According to an insider, their work relationship is “in a very bad state.”

This weekend saw Meghan host an intimate dinner for the Southern California Welcome Project through the Sussexes’ Archewell Foundation. This event carried on in the absence of her husband, Prince Harry.

Following the Thanksgiving event, the former actress shared a moving statement on Archewell website, where she talked about the intimidate gathering she organized for Afghan women with their partner organization, Mina’s List.

“This initiative has spent the past year building community through storytelling and creating a safe space for women who have resettled in the US from Afghanistan,” the statement read.

“The evening included a shared meal that encouraged open conversation centered on gratitude and resilience.”

Meghan “expressed her deep appreciation to the attendees for sharing their personal stories and cultural experiences,” before going on to reveal her hopes to host future events.

“The dinner was hosted at Our Place, founded by Shiza Shahid, where the participants were gifted with new cookware for the upcoming holiday season,” Markle’s statement shared.

The statement concludes by revealing that the Duchess “remains committed to uplifting women and fostering community through shared experiences, reinforcing the importance of unity and support during challenging times.”

This is coming after Harry made a trip to Vancouver to attend Invictus Games-related events. At roughly the same time, Meghan made a solo outing to support her friend’s beauty launch event.

In their first joint appearance in months, the pair shared a video in honor of Veteran’s Day, and talked about prioritizing children’s safety online through their Archewell Foundation.
