Meghan Markle Feels Regrets About How She Exited The Royal Family

Meghan Markle is yet to get over the “resentment” she feels due to how she was treated by the monarchy. Even though it’s been four years since their exit, Meghan is still looking back at her short-lived time in the Royal Family and hoping she’d done some things a little differently.

Meghan Markle isn’t happy about how certain comments she made on Oprah backfired spectacularly at her, providing ammo that critics could use to bash her.

A Los Angeles royal commentator recently revealed that the former actress wasn’t happy when some of her revelations “weren’t received in the way that she had expected and several of her comments have backfired.” Her biggest remose, however, was the “royal racist controversy,” which the insider said she and Prince Harry “deeply regret.”

“Meghan wanted the takeaway from their Oprah interview [in 2021] to be about her mental health, and I think Meghan regretted sitting down with The Cut [in 2022] because she provided endless commentary for her critics,” they added, per the report published by Grazia Magazine.

In the meantime, Meghan is focusing on building her lifestyle brand and growing in her desired role as a public figure.

Meghan Markle – Wants To Move On From Royal Drama

You may want to tell the Sussexes that all the royal drama happening in the last four years have mainly come from their camp as the Royal Family has refrained from engaging them on any level that isn’t on a private level. But they’ll likely tell you that they’re done with the royal bashing and are ready to move on themselves.

“After Spare, [Harry and Meghan] realized, ‘OK, we’re ready to move on. We want to focus on our future,’” the family friend previously told Us Weekly. “‘We can have meaning and importance separate from the lives we had previously.’”

The source further claimed, “Meghan doesn’t harbor any negative feelings. She just wants peace, and knows you can’t find peace if you harbor resentments.”
