Meghan Markle Commands Attention In This Natural Way Without Prince Harry

Meghan Markle stepped out for the first time since Prince Harry began his solo charity campaign to attend a Children’s Hospital Gala held in LA. For the event, she opted to recycle a 2021 dress and to wear her hair long and curly.

While she may not have gotten to take part in the main event, she did shine bright in the red carpet. And now the experts are here to tell us how she stole the carpet on her own terms.

Meghan Markle “Shows Independence” At Her First Solo Outing Since Hollywood Reporter Published Bullying Reports

Meghan Markle originally wore the sexy red Herrera dress during a 2021 New York outing with Prince Harry.

For this rewear, she opted to remove the excess material in the train for a slimmer and more gorgeous fit. She also decided to pair it with red £696 slingback heels by Giuseppe Zanotti, which also featured a crystal-embellished buckle detail, instead of the old black pointy ones.
Color consultant Jules Standish explained that there’s a message behind Meghan’s color combination.

She said: “Meghan went bright and bold in red – a colour that demands attention, showing that she feels confident and strong.”

Speaking on how Meghan has combined her colors during previous events, she said, “When she chose turquoise, a colour which is fun-loving and uplifting, she was showing that she’s cool and in control. And in white at the National Theatre, she was projecting an open-minded personality. White is ultimately positive and optimistic and counteracts negativity – a tool Meghan frequently needs.”

Agreeing with this sentiment, Psychologist Karen Haller said that the bold pick of red “is the colour we notice before any other. There is a rebellious side to red. Meghan is maybe showing her independence here.”

The tradition of recycling clothes has been something that’s long practiced by Princess Kate, who has established a reputation for recycling frocks and stylish accessories.

During the 2021 Earthshot Prize awards, she encouraged people to engage in more environmental preservation practices, saying, “Nature is vital to us all… But for too long we’ve neglected our wild spaces and now we’re facing a number of tipping points. If we don’t act now we will permanently destabilise our planet and rob our children of the future they deserve.”
