Meghan Markle Called “Delusional” For Thinking Being A Royal Put Her Above Victoria Beckham

According to a new biography, Meghan Markle automatically felt that being a member of the Royal Family put her in a higher social standing than the former Spice Girl and businesswoman, Victoria Beckham. However, when she discovered that the Beckhams had more wealth, she grew “irritated.”

Meghan Markle’s Rift With Victoria Beckham Explored In New Biography

A new Beckham biography is shedding light on what really drove the Sussexes and the Beckhams apart.

In the book “House of Beckham,” Tom Bower wrote that Meghan Markle would always put “on airs” whenever she was around Victoria Beckham because she thought marrying Harry granted her more social class. Bower further claimed there were very little in common between the two ladies.

“In Meghan’s celebrity world, ranking depended on wealth and fame,” Bower wrote. “As a seasoned operator, Meghan deluded herself that her status in the Royal family placed her above Victoria in the social pecking order.”

“She was irritated to discover that the Beckhams had considerably more wealth than herself. They owned five homes, had constant access to private jets, invitations to sail on yachts and much more money. And she was soon to be a duchess.”

Despite Meghan’s alleged attempt to carry herself as if she’s worthier than Victoria Beckham, it is said the Beckhams made attempts to be friendly to the Royal Family newcomer.

Bower wrote that when Meghan became a new resident of Kensington Palace, “a member of Victoria’s staff offered Harry’s fiancé advice on the best facials and hairdressing in London.”

The soon-to-be Duchess then allegedly asked whether she could receive free bags and clothes from Victoria’s big fashion brand, but was told by the Palace that this was against protocol.

Despite the Palace warning, Meghan was said to continue taking advantage of her soon-to-be royal status by impeding on the Beckhams during a private trip to Los Angeles where she stayed in their Beverly Hills residence.

“Her excuse was to avoid the paparazzi. At no cost, all her needs were secretly provided for by the Beckhams’ staff,” Bower wrote.

“If there was a hint that Meghan was taking advantage of her new status, the Beckhams pushed their gripes aside.”

Things took a head when Meghan accused Victoria of leaking stories about her to the press.

The leaked story appeared in The Sun where a source revealed the free makeup sessions Victoria’s staff gave Meghan. If you asked me, this story is not as embarrassing as Prince Harry telling the world he applied his mother’s favorite brand of cream on his frostbitten penis. But go figure.
