Meghan Markle Blamed For Making Prince Harry Believe Life In The Monarchy Was An “Unhappy” One

Meghan Markle has often been credited for introducing tensions in Harry and Prince William’s relationship, and while Harry clearly told us that it’s not so in “Spare,” some people still believe this.

One of those “some people” happen to be Princess Kate’s uncle Gary Goldsmith, who is currently a housemate in the Celebrity Big Brother house. See what he has to say about dramatic Meghan Markle’s meddling.

These days, there’s very little Harry can tell us of life as part of the Royal Family that he isn’t recounting with a hint of sadness.

Well, Uncle Gary believes Harry hadn’t been so miserable growing up as a member of the Royal Family, and that he quite enjoyed spending time with William and Kate, before Meghan Markle came along and threw a spanner in the works.

Shortly after Harry and Meghan’s 2018 wedding, cracks publicly started appearing in Harry and William’s relationship, and while some generally believe that the cracks preceded Meghan, Gary obviously has a different opinion.

He said during Tuesday night’s episode of the TV programme: “I have the opinion that Harry was, really loved, massively loved, and when they were a threesome – Kate, William and Harry – were really comfortable together, loved.”

He continued: “And then suddenly there’s an extra dynamic that comes in, puts a stick in the spokes and creates so much drama that I don’t generally think is there, and rewrote the history and said how unhappy he was, and I just don’t think that’s fair.”

These comments go to counteract what Harry has written in “Spare,” where he called his brother his “arch-nemesis” and recalled a time William and Kate laughed at him for making a fool of himself in public, even though it was through their advise that he did so.

However, these days, Harry seems to be more open about spending time in the UK than he was when he exited in 2020. In fact, he went on to freely confess that he has several trips planned for the UK throughout the year.

Speaking on this change, Gary said, “I think at some point he’s going to want to come back and be part of the gang, he might need to, but I think we’re a very forgiving nature and I think everybody will give him a chance again.”
