Mariska Hargitay Headed To Law & Order Organized Crime

Law & Order fans got good news today from the legendary Chris Meloni.  The Olivia Benson and Elliott Stabler reunion we have been waiting for is FINALLY coming.  Mariska Hargitay is headed to Organized Crime.  Keep reading for all the details, and more Law & Order spoilers.

Law & Order SVU hasn’t been the same since Elliott Stabler left Special Victims and joined Organized Crime.  Chris Meloni debuted on the spinoff in 2021, and also serves as executive producer.  The actor revealed on the Today show that he’s writing an upcoming episode of Law & Order OC and fan fave Mariska Hargitay will be joining them in Season 5.

Law & Order – Olivia Benson And Elliot Stabler Reunite On Organized Crime

There has always been a large percentage of Law & Order fans who want Olivia and Elliot to be together. 

Maybe when Meloni is penning episodes for Organized Crime, he can finally play around with that pairing more.  That would certainly be one way to still get viewers to tune in to the show after its switch to streaming.

While the Law & Order characters are known to have cameos on each other’s show, an Olivia Benson and Elliot Stabler reunion has been a long time coming. 

The last time Benson and Stabler were together was for a brief storyline in Season 3 of Organized Crime.  The dynamic duo hasn’t shared scenes in almost two years now.

Law & Order – Organized Crime Season 5 Spoilers

Chris Meloni’s series Organized Crime was renewed for Season 5, however the renewal was bittersweet. 

It was also revealed that the Law & Order spinoff was moving over to NBC’s streaming giant Peacock and would no longer air on primetime. 

However, Law & Order SVU is still going strong and new episodes will return on October 3rd, 2024.
