Mama June: Family Crisis star Lauryn “Pumpkin” Efird hard-launched her new boyfriend just a week or so after filing for divorce from her husband, Josh, and fans are slamming her. After all, she hardly waited for a heartbeat before appearing in photos with a guy named Darrin.

Pumpkin Efird Was Married For Six years

Mama June Shannon’s daughter never seemed to enjoy any youthful life because she was still a teen when she welcomed her first baby, Ella Grace. Still not yet 25, she’s got four kids and helped raise her sister Alana Thompson. With a ruined marriage behind her, naturally, WETV fans wonder why she would want a new relationship right now.

Pumpkin Efird and Josh seem to have moved along with new people in their lives. So, while everything looked just fine on Mama June: Family Crisis, it clearly wasn’t good. WETV fans seemed shocked to discover that things had been brewing badly behind the scenes. But, they seem friendly enough to share custody of the kids, Ella, 6, Bentley, 3, and the twins Sylus and Stella, 2. 

Why Are Fans Slamming The Mama June Star?

On Reddit, a photo of the WETV star and her new boyfriend, Darrin got a lot of criticism. Firstly, it’s not that long ago that she claimed she wanted privacy after the split went public. And secondly, followers can’t get their heads around the rush to find a new man.

After finding the photo of Pumpkin Efird online, u/Delinquentpigeon shared it on the platform and wrote in the caption:

Unhappy fans took to the comments to discuss their thoughts about the relationship. One of them wrote, “This is F–ked up! She literally just filed a week ago and you’re showing off your new man/cousin-in-law This is some wild s–t y’all.”

It seems that Darrin is related to Pumpkin’s ex, Josh Efird as some fans discussed how he tied into the family. A follower who seems to be in the know claimed, “He’s Josh’s cousin, and Josh is also Sugarbear’s cousin… 🤠🥴”
