‘Mama June’ Anna’s Ex, Michael Cardwell Marries London Smith

Mama June: Family Crisis star Anna Cardwell passed away aged just 29, and Michael Cardwell, her ex, took over custody of their child, Kylee. Now, Kylee has a new step-mom because he and London Smith tied the knot on the weekend.

Anna Cardwell Complicated The Life Of Kaitlyn

Michael Cardwell has a lot of WEtv fans who supported him in his fight for custody of Kaitlyn, He and London Smith had hoped to take over custody of the young teen. Although he wasn’t her biological dad, he helped to pay for her education. Additionally, she and her younger half-sister, Kylee grew up spending time with him and his fiance, London Smith. However, they lost their custody bid for Kaitlyn to June Shannon.

 The complications with Kaitlyn came because her mom didn’t arrange custody before her death. Actually, London was more than willing to take on the responsibilities of raising children she had not given birth to. Naturally, that endeared her to Mama June: Family Crisis fans. Well, this weekend, Michael Cardwell and London Smith became man and wife, and WEtv fans wished them the best.  

Michael Cardwell Ties The Knot

On Monday, Mama June: Family Crisis fans who follow Michael and London saw that he posted a nice picture of her on his Instagram. She looked very pretty in her wedding dress. It was white and neat, and her long blonde hair complimented the simplicity of it. In the photo, she smiled very sweetly against the backdrop of gardens. 

In his caption, Michael Cardwell didn’t say that he married London but he did in a way because he noted that she’s now London Cardwell:

Mrs. Cardwell. I love the way that sounds. So beautiful I love you London Cardwell.

Mama June: Family Crisis Fans React

Not many WEtv fans saw the post by Michael about his wedding. But, those that did seem very pleased for them. Here are some of their nice comments to the couple:

• Congratulations to the both of you!!

Unfortunately, nobody from Mama June Shannon’s family commented on the social media post. And, that seems a shame because Kylee still lives with him, and she was very much a part of Anna Cardwell’s life.
