It turns out that Derek was taken into custody on January 18, 2024. Monique surprisingly shared an update on her Facebook page and even went so far as to change her photo to a picture of his most recent mugshot from jail.

The picture in question is from the Ohio Department of Corrections’ website. There weren’t that many charges listed then, but Monique was quick to share with her fans what happened.

Monique wrote, “He’s in for a violation so his old charges are up there along with old info.” After she shared this info, there were a lot of fans who asked her if they would see the couple back on the show.

She told them that they had broken up and he had seriously messed things up with her, so they would not be back on the show.

Not only did Monique tell her fans that they were not together any longer, but she also mentioned that Derek had been “banned” from the show.

Of course, Monique didn’t go further into why he was banned, but it turns out that she doesn’t have too many good things to say about her ex.

Monique has stood up for herself since they broke up and she has gotten a lot of hate from his current girlfriend. No matter what hate has been thrown at her though, Monique has moved on in her life.

Derek has been in prison before for past charges against him.He was involved in a second-degree felony and an assault charge. It turns out that he has had multiple parole violations.

Derek was also sued by one of his former managers. It just seems as if he can’t stay away from a life of crime. There has yet to be an update on the new charges against him, but we will continue to keep an eye on this case.
