The news of King’s arrest came early this week and fans were shocked to hear that he had murdered someone in Texas. The dispute happened on July 5th. King apparently was arguing with another man in his car.

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram wrote, “Fort Worth police arrested Kurtis King, 34, in the death of Ellis Latavion Laron Smith, 35.

Officers were called to the 2400 block of Meacham Blvd. the night of July 5 to find Smith critically injured. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.”

It turns out that King and Smith had knives pulled on one another. They were fighting over a business transaction that had taken place between the two men.

King decided to get into his car and drive right into Smth. He hit his car multiple times and then fled the scene of the crime.
