Great news for Lioness’ fans! Filming and production for the series’ Season 2 is under way! One of the most exciting aspects of this all is that Nicole Kidman has officially returned to the set, after recently wrapping up filming on the second season of Nine Perfect Strangers. The actress certainly has been a busy bee and hard at work as of late!

With that being said, she’s also been very active on social media recently, with an interesting post about the Paramount+ series, on Instagram.

Kidman posted a Lioness behind-the-scenes photo, with her back turned to the camera, as she had her left hand in the air, posting for a photographer. She’s also donning a light blue suit and white cowboy hat. The captions says, “Best cowboy hat ever … Thanks #TaylorSheridan & #Lioness. Season 2 is in full force xx.”

Looks like the cast and crew of Lioness are in the thick of things when it comes to production on Season 2 of the show, which is filmed in Texas.

While it’s amazing to see that Kidman will be a part of Lioness, Season 2, the real mystery has less to do with her character, Kaitlyn Meade, and more with what will unravel in Cruz Manuelos’s (Laysla De Oliveira) world.

After the events that unfolded with Aaliyah Amorhi’s (Stephanie Nur) dad, it looked as if Cruz didn’t want to move forward with the program. On top of that, many fans are also wondering if Aaliyah will return for Season 2 at all, which is hard to tell at this point.

It would be sad not to see her in the new season, as her storyline was amazing in Season 1, but only time will tell.
