Late Queen Elizabeth Reportedly Had Big Plans For Prince Harry And Meghan Markle

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been accused of trying to set up their own rival royal family in America for years now. With their second faux royal tour coming up, it’s starting to seem so.

The thing is, with two senior royals mostly out of the spotlight due to their ongoing cancer treatment, it would be harder for the Royal Family to counter Harry and Meghan’s moves to grow a “rival court.” The Sussexes have always had a funny sense of timing.

Long before he became King, Charles has always been said to favor a slimmed-down approach to the monarchy.

And now that he’s the monarch, he’s more or less adapted this model. However, what he couldn’t have foreseen was that he and his daughter-in-law would undergo treatments around the same time, leaving a big gap in the monarchy.

Happily, he’s so far returned to his royal facing duties, but royal commentator Phil Dampier believes Harry and Meghan could have taken a load off their backs had they remained.

“All of a sudden, the slimmed-down monarchy by default is looking very slim, so they are thin on the ground, and obviously, were they still working royals, Harry and Meghan could have taken up a lot of the slack. So it is frustrating,” Phil told Fabulous.

“But we are where we are, and in some ways, you know, we’re going to have to wait until George, Charlotte, and Louis are another 10 years older before they can start performing duties.”

There’s a lot of royal tours that need to be done, but King Charles obviously can’t see to all these due to his advanced age.

Prince William could have stepped in, but with wife Princess Kate recovering from cancer, he’ll likely not be traveling in the foreseeable future.

This is the part, Phil Dampier opined, Harry and Meghan could have shown their usefulness.
“And in the meantime, it’s going to be difficult,” Phil said, adding, “Harry and Meghan could have taken a great weight off their shoulders, and certainly the late Queen had massive plans for Harry and Meghan.

She thought that they would be perfect to travel around the Commonwealth and represent her, and represent the Royal Family, and carry on after she’d gone.”
